Audi RS3 vs Quattro Rally Car: DRAG RACE

Audi vs Audi line-ups don’t get much better than this!

Mat’s lining up in the all-new Audi RS3, and he’s facing off against a 1985 Audi Sport Quattro S1 Group B rally car!!

So let’s compare the stats on these two 5 cylinder beasts! Starting with the RS3, it’s powered by a 2.5-litre 5-cylinder turbo that can put down 400hp & 500Nm. It drives all four wheels and weighs in at 1,575kg. A new one today will cost you around £57,000.

Then we have the rally car. It’s up on power compared to the RS3, with its 2.1-litre 5 cylinder turbo producing 500hp & 480Nm. Naturally, it’s also lighter, tipping the scales at 1,090kg. And given its age, it’s worth a whole lot more than the RS3, with an insurance value of £1,700,000!!

However, there’s one key difference compared to the RS3 – it’s equipped with a 6-speed manual! Will that prove the difference? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE! For more content like this one follow us also on Facebook, Pinterest or Instagram!
