SUPERCHARGED vs TURBO – WHICH HONDA GOES BANG?

Today is an all-Honda war, but boosted from both sides. On one end, Richard lines up in his 500 bhp supercharged Honda S2000, powered by the longitudinal F20 engine sending everything to the rear wheels. On the other, Izzy pilots a 520 bhp turbocharged Honda Civic EP3 Type R, running a swapped K24 up front in classic front wheel drive fashion. Supercharger versus turbo. Rear wheel drive versus front wheel drive. F-series versus K-series. Quarter mile bragging rights on the line.

What follows is chaos in the best possible way. Roll races are tight, launches are messy, gears are missed, and tensions rise as both cars trade blows. The EP3 posts the quickest 100–200 km/h time at 8.47 seconds, edging out the S2000’s 8.62. But the drama peaks when the Civic develops a worrying engine knock mid-battle and ultimately bows out. The S2000 runs a solo 13.76-second quarter mile at 113 mph, yet the question lingers. With better conditions and a healthy engine, who truly would have taken it? One thing is certain. This boosted Honda clash delivers noise, rivalry, and pure grassroots racing energy from start to finish..
