Ford Mustang V8 v Hayabusa-powered Mini: DRAG RACE

Get ready for one of our weirdest drag races yet! Mat’s rolled up to the start line in a Ford Mustang. It’s been lent to him by Clive Sutton, and its 5-litre naturally-aspirated V8 has been tuned to increase the power from 450hp to 490hp. It also produces 530Nm of torque and tips the scales at 1,730kg. As you would expect, it’s also rear-wheel-drive only.

Alongside him is another rear-wheel-drive car, but this is no ordinary car! It’s a classic Mini which has had its regular engine swapped with one from a Suzuki Hayabusa motorbike! As a result, this little Mini can produce 180hp & 150Nm! It’s super light as well, weighing in at just 500kg!

So what do you think will happen here – will the Mustang power to victory? Or will the super light Mini snatch it? There’s only one way to find out – LET’S RACE! Don’t forget to follow us also on Facebook, Pinterest or Instagram!
