We’ve got Mat in a Ford Mustang, and he’s going up against a BMW M4! However, this is no ordinary Mustang – it’s been tuned by Clive Sutton and fitted with a supercharger! So let’s take a closer look at the stats… The base spec Mustang is powered by a 5-litre naturally-aspirated V8 that produces 453hp and 540Nm. However, this one’s been fitted with a supercharger and a new exhaust, and it now produces 800hp and 870Nm! This power is sent to the rear wheels only via a 6-speed manual, and it weighs in at 1,812kg. The full cost of the car, including the upgrades, is £165,000. Then we come to the F82 BMW M4. The standard M4 comes with a 4-litre twin-turbo inline six that produces 450hp and 550Nm. However, the car we have here has had an ECU and DCT tune, and as a result, it now produces 550hp and 750Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheels only via a 7-speed dual-clutch, and the car tips the scales at 1,537kg.
