Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut v Regera: DRAG RACE Drag & Track by turboandstance - May 3, 2025May 3, 2025 It’s time for an incredible Koenigsegg drag race! Mat and the team have flown over to Sweden, and they’re about to run the Jesko Absolut against the Regera at Koenigsegg’s own test track! So let’s see how the two compare. Starting with the Jesko Absolut, it’s powered by a 5-litre twin-turbo V8, and when running on E85, it produces 1,600hp and 1,500Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 9-speed multi-clutch gearbox, and the car weighs in at 1,390kg. As new, it costs around £5,000,000. Then we have the Regera. It’s also powered by a 5-litre twin-turbo V8, but it’s also fitted with three electric motors! When these combine and the car’s running E85, it produces 1,500hp and 2,000Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a single-speed torque converter gearbox, and it tips the scales at 1,590kg. As new, it costs around £3,000,000. So the Jesko may be slightly up on power, but the Regera has three electric motors! Will they prove to be the difference? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!
