1000HP AWD Honda v Porsche 918 Spyder: DRAG RACE

How’s this for a drag race line-up! We’ve got our hands on Porsche’s first hypercar, the 918 Spyder, and it’s going up against… A Honda Integra Type R?!

But of course, this is no normal Integra – it’s the AWD Integra Type R lent to us by Officially Gassed!

So let’s see how these two mega machines compare. Starting with the Porsche, it’s powered by a 4.6-litre naturally-aspirated V8, coupled with two electric motors, which combine to deliver 887hp and 1,280Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and it weighs in at 1,674kg.

And then we have the Integra. It’s a 2002 Type R that’s had around £100,000 spent on it. As a result, it’s been converted to have AWD, had a sequential gearbox fitted, and a massive turbo has been added to the 2-litre 4-cylinder engine, just to name a few of the mods! As a result, this incredible import can now produce around 922hp!!

So it’s the £1.4 million hypercar vs. a £100,000 Integra. Will the reliability of the Porsche propel it to victory? Or will the Integra snatch the win? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!
