Samir Lukac in the Volks Workshop sponsored Mk1 Golf was at Santa Pod Raceway for the VW Action Show. With a new setup built by Samir and mapped by Chris Roylance at Volks Workshop, it produced over 700bhp during initially testing and hit 200mph on the rollers.

Samir put in several 9 second runs, getting quicker and quicker with each one, and topping out with a 9.32 @ 155mph, making it the quickest VW Golf in the UK.
