New Ranger Raptor vs tuned Amarok & X-Class: DRAG RACE

How’s this for a pick-up drag race line-up?! We’ve got the all-new Ford Ranger Raptor, and it’s facing off against a tuned Mercedes X-Class and tuned Volkswagen Amarok!

So let’s see how these three behemoths stack up. Starting with the Ranger Raptor, it’s powered by a 3-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol which can deliver 292hp and 583Nm of torque. It tips the scales at 2,454kg and is the only petrol-powered car here. It’s also at a bit of a disadvantage by being equipped with off-road tyres.

Next up we have the X-Class. This comes with a 3-litre turbo V6 diesel under the bonnet, and it’s been tuned! As a result, it can deliver 300hp and 700Nm of torque, and it weighs in at 2,383kg.

Then finally we have the Amarok. This has also been tuned, and as a result, its 3-litre turbo V6 diesel can put down 340hp and 775Nm! It’s also the lightest car here, weighing in at 2,330kg.

So what do you think – will it be a clean sweep for the Amarok? Or could the all-new Ford snatch a win? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!
