This Volvo V40 has BMW Twin Turbo V8 Power Source

The professional drift sport always has the most bizarre engine swaps, but this combination is very unique. A Volvo V40 that has been converted to rear-wheel drive and has a V8 engine from a BMW M5 plus two Garrett turbochargers.

The 4.9-liter eight-cylinder engine delivers 730 hp and 930 Nm of torque at 0.7 bar turbo pressure. The power goes to the rear wheels by using a ZF transmission, BMW E60 rear subframe and M5 differential and drive shafts.

According to owner Fast Mike, even more power can be taken from the block if the turbo pressure is further increased. Based on what we have seen, this is not necessary, the rear tires smoke fine!
