From front-wheel drive underdogs to sophisticated all-wheel drive machines, each car has a different approach to putting its power down.

The competition begins with timed quarter-mile runs before the cars battle through a knockout-style drag racing tournament. The Audi S3, Audi RS3, Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S, BMW M140i and other heavily modified contenders all have a shot at the crown, but the results prove that outright power is only part of the equation. With close finishes, launch-control battles and reaction times under scrutiny, the event also features roll racing to see which tuned machine truly comes out on top.
