Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm Review – The 540HP Skunk Works Super Saloon

Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm driving on winding Welsh B-road during performance test

The Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm is a rare, limited-run super saloon that pushes Alfa Romeo’s performance philosophy into full theatrical mode. Developed with input from Formula 1 engineers and built as an extreme evolution of the Giulia Quadrifoglio, it produces around 540 horsepower from its twin-turbo V6 and sheds weight through extensive carbon fibre use, aggressive aerodynamics, and track-focused engineering.

On the road, the GTAm feels more like a touring race car than a traditional executive saloon. Its stiffened chassis, carbon ceramic brakes, and carefully tuned balance make it devastatingly quick yet surprisingly playful on demanding roads. Despite its track obsession, it still retains elements of everyday usability, making it one of the most dramatic and emotionally charged send-offs to the combustion era in modern performance cars.Watch the video, leave a comment and follow us also on Facebook, Pinterest or Instagram!
