1100HP Turbo Honda MR2! 48 PSI, 10000 RPM & Pure Insanity Acceleration & Sound by turboandstance - December 19, 2020October 28, 2026 This Toyota MR2 is no ordinary lightweight sports car. Known for its extreme performance, Josh’s custom widebody MR2 combines a Honda K20 engine with a Precision Gen 2 7275 turbocharger to produce around 1100HP. Running on E85 fuel, the built engine features a JBR Engines short block, Drag Cartel 3.2 cams, a six-inch intercooler and a PPG transmission. With a weight of around 2440 pounds, this rear-engined pocket rocket delivers a staggering power-to-weight ratio. Nicknamed a street killer, the MR2 has evolved from an 850HP build into a seriously fast machine capable of running 9.1-second quarter-mile passes at 169 mph. The setup includes rolling anti-lag, traction control, custom metal widebody arches and drag-focused suspension components. With boost reaching around 48 PSI and a reported rev limit near 9800 RPM, this Honda-powered Toyota blends street driving with drag-strip performance, while its short wheelbase makes putting all that power down a constant challenge.
