900HP REAR-ENGINE VR6 Audi TT! This Thing Does WHEELIES! 🔥

900HP rear-engine turbo VR6 Audi TT drag racing car built by Asmus Motorsport

Have you ever seen a 900HP rear engine Audi TT with a turbo VR6? This wild Audi TT was built by Eric Asmus of Asmus Motorsport in Germany, and it is about as far from a standard TT as you can get. Originally front-wheel drive, the car was transformed into a custom rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive drag machine after traction became a major problem. The result is a lightweight tube-frame hybrid chassis housing a heavily modified VR6 powerplant producing around 900hp.

The 900HP rear engine Audi TT features an R32-based VR6 with a 2.8-litre crank, a massive Pulsar G42 1450 turbo, 02M MQ350 dog-box transmission with H-pattern shifting, limited-slip differential and ice-water intercooling. It launches at around 5,800rpm and revs to approximately 8,500rpm, while 30kg of lead ballast at the front helps keep the car planted. Eric has already run a 10.1-second quarter-mile and is targeting a 9-second pass, with plans to eventually push the VR6 towards 1,000hp. And yes, this thing does wheelies. 🔥 For more content like this one follow us also on Facebook, Pinterest or Instagram!
