It’s the one you’ve all been waiting for – the new RS3 is taking on the AMG A45 S! …oh, but we’re not done there!

We’ve also brought in a BMW M2, a Porsche Cayman GTS and a Golf R for this epic drag race! Right then, let’s look at the stats. Starting with the new RS3, it’s powered by a 2.5-litre turbocharged 5 cylinder that puts out 400hp & 500Nm of torque.

Alongside it, we have the A45, with a 2-litre turbocharged 4 cylinder that produces 420hp & 500Nm. It’s heavier than the RS3 though, weighing in at 1,625kg compared to the Audi’s 1,570kg!

Next up we have two rear-wheel-drive cars – the BMW M2 and the Cayman GTS. Under the Bimmer’s bonnet, you’ll find a 3-litre twin-turbo straight-six that puts down 410hp & 550Nm. As for the Porsche, it’s powered by a glorious 4-litre flat-six engine that delivers 400hp & 420Nm.

It’s also the lightest car here, weighing in at 1,480kg… However, it’s also the only manual in this line-up!! Then finally we have the Golf, with a 2-litre turbocharged 4 cylinder that puts out 320hp & 420Nm. It weighs in at 1,550kg, and it’s the cheapest car here, setting you back £40,000.
