We’ve got Mat in the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, and he’s going head-to-head against Yianni in the Porsche 911 GT3! So let’s see how these two superstars compare.

Starting with the Z06, it’s powered by a 5.5-litre naturally-aspirated V8 that produces 646hp and 595Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels only via an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, and the car weighs in at 1,714kg. The Z06 starts from £183,000, but due to this one having the Z07 Track Pack added to it, the cost is an eye-watering £209,000!

Then we come to the Porsche. It’s powered by a 4-litre naturally-aspirated flat-six, and this creates 510hp and 450Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch, and it weighs in at 1,479kg. New, the GT3 costs £158,000, but this car with options added comes in at £173,000.

So the Z06 may have much more power, but not only is the Porsche lighter, but they’re renowned for being lightning fast off the line! Will that prove enough to snatch the win?
