Porsche 911 Turbo S vs 600HP BMW M3 xDrive: DRAG RACE

Surely a BMW M3 has no chance against a Porsche 911 Turbo S over the quarter-mile, right?

Guess again!

Mat’s rolling up to this latest drag race in a tuned BMW M3 Competition to see if it has what it takes to compete with the king of carwow drag races, the 992 Turbo S!

So how do the stats compare? Well the M3 has had a stage one tune, so as a result, its 3-litre twin-turbo straight-six puts down 600hp & 750Nm of torque. It’s equipped with all-wheel drive and weighs in at 1,780kg.

As for the Porsche, its 3.8-litre twin-turbo puts down more power, producing 650hp and 800Nm. It’s also lighter than the M3, tipping the scales at 1,640kg.
