Charlie Roberts was at the VW Breakout Show at Santa Pod Raceway in his VW UP, which is fitted with a VW 2.3l V5 Golf and gearbox, which produced 200bhp on the rollers at EST Performance.

He has been running in the mid 13’s on this setup, but with the added help of a 75hp shot of NOS, he broke into the 12’s with the quickest run being a 12.72 @ 106mph. This time I have been told, makes it the quickest VW UP in Europe. Does anybody know otherwise?
