THIS STRIPPED OUT 850KG *ZETEC SWAPPED* RS TURBO IS BRUTAL Acceleration & Sound by turboandstance - May 2, 2023October 13, 2026 This classic Ford Fiesta RS Turbo is a proper blast from the past, but beneath its clean old-school looks lies a seriously upgraded machine. Its original 1.6-litre CVH engine has been replaced with a fully built 2.0-litre Zetec, featuring forged internals, upgraded valve springs, Cat Cams and a Garrett GT3071R turbocharger. With around 350 bhp and a stripped-out weight believed to be under 850 kg, this lightweight Ford has a power-to-weight ratio that makes it a very different animal from a modern hot hatch. But the numbers only tell part of the story. With front-wheel drive, minimal driver aids and a raw power delivery, this Fiesta demands serious concentration when the boost comes in. The video explores its build, takes it out on the road and puts its acceleration to the test. Even a relatively modest 0-60 mph figure doesn’t tell the whole story of what makes this old-school RS Turbo such an unforgettable driving experience.
