This Manual Audi TT RS Shouldn’t Be This Good Around The Nürburgring

Six Lamborghini V12 supercars from Miura to Revuelto lined up for a drag race

This Audi TT RS has taken the traditional five-cylinder formula and turned it into a serious Nürburgring build. Originally a low-mileage Suzuka Grey TT RS, the car has been transformed with Muchano widebody and aerodynamic parts, KW suspension, Brembo brakes, Endless brake pads, a stripped interior, carbon components and a manual transmission. The 2.5-litre five-cylinder now produces around 450HP thanks to an intercooler and completely revised exhaust system.

The most interesting part is how the modified chassis changes the way the TT RS behaves on track. A Haldex controller helps manage the all-wheel-drive system, while the suspension and setup allow significantly more rotation than expected from a car carrying the TT RS’s front-heavy characteristics. With three pedals, a short-shift manual setup, strong brakes, 450HP and a distinctive five-cylinder soundtrack, this TT RS becomes a very different animal around the Nürburgring.
