Ferrari 296 GTB vs Ferrari SF90: DRAG RACE

We’ve got two incredible Ferrari hybrid supercars going head-to-head over the quarter-mile! The question is, can the newer 296 GTB beat the almighty tri-motor SF90? Well, let’s take a closer look.

Starting with the 296 GTB, it’s powered by a 3-litre twin-turbo V6 coupled with an electric motor. These drive the rear wheels and combine to produce 830hp and 740Nm of torque. It still remains pretty light, tipping the scales at 1,470kg.

Then we have the SF90. It comes equipped with a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 coupled with three electric motors – two at the front and one at the back. Combined, they produce an eye-watering 1,000hp and 800Nm, pushing this power through all four wheels. It’s a bit heavier than the 296 GTB, though, at 1,570kg.

So how will this play out? The SF90 may have more power, but the 296 is lighter! Will the weight difference prove to be decisive? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!
