During the Goodwood Festival of Speed they have filmed this 1978 BMW 320 E21 Turbo Group 5.

This car is wide, massively wide: A potpourri of bolt-ons this is the first generation of the BMW 3 Series. The additions to the bodywork provide a source of fascination with a functional, yet brutalist style. In 1978, BMW Motorsport delivered one of 36 kits for the sum of 90000 Marks to GS Tuning in Freiburg, where this example was created as a BMW 320 Gruppe 5 racer.

The consistently weight-reduced design weighs just 760 kilograms and its two-litre, four-cylinder engine from Formula 2 has around 310HP and revs up to 10.000/min!
