Ken Block’s Hoonitruck at Festival of Speed: 1977 Ford F-150 w/ 900HP EcoBoost V6 Engine!

This video is about Ken Block and his insane Hoonitruck in action during the Goodwood Festival of Speed. After a brief hillclimb run on Day 2/Friday’s morning, Ken used the Hoonitruck for a couple of donuts shows at the then-freshly introduced ‘The Arena’, a square area where spectators can watch stunt shows and drifting activity throughout the course of the day. One of these Ken’s shows was held together with a JetPack Aviation JB11.

The Hoonitruck is a 1977… no, let’s say it better: Hoonitruck is a custom built chassis with the resemblance of a 1977 Ford F-150 Truck powered by a tuned Ford Performance Ecooboost V6 (twin-turbo) engine, taken from one of Ford’s Le Mans programme car, a Ford GT LM. It’s now able to produce 914 hp at 7,400 rpm and 950 Nm of torque at 6,450rpm released to the ground on all 4 wheels. The engine is linked to a Sadev 6-speed sequential gearbox.
