Supercharged Ford Fiesta MK2 || ST170 Engine Swap – Retro Rides Gathering 2018 Acceleration & Sound Street Races by turboandstance - November 30, 2018November 30, 2018 One of the most intriguing cars on this year´s edition of Retro Rides Gathering was this Ford Fiesta XR2 Mk2 from 1987, powered by the 2.0L engine from the Focus ST170, but with the addition (of a very audible) Eaton Supercharger. Property of Liam Stolton, it is an immaculately finished machine and one that is by now extensively modified, going far beyond the engine swap already mentioned. Adding to the Eaton M45 Supercharger that makes it possible to achieve 198Hp/7.500Rpm, there´s also a Quaife IB5 gearbox to transmit the power to the Front Wheels, with its interior fully striped to ensure that this machine weighs the minimum possible (around 850Kg in this case), all adding to the use of lighter material when it came to the bespoke Aerodynamic kit that really sets this Fiesta Mk2 apart from any other you have seen until now.
