Tiff Needell gets behind the wheel of the extraordinary TWR Supercat, a radically reimagined Jaguar XJS restomod combining a 660bhp supercharged V12, six-speed manual gearbox, rear-wheel drive and a completely redesigned carbon-fibre body. With only 88 examples planned and a finished price approaching £500,000, this is far removed from the classic XJS Tiff remembers.

The drive is also a personal trip back through Tiff’s racing history.
