Four iconic Volkswagen Group performance cars go head-to-head in an ultimate V10 drag race, featuring the Audi R8 V10, Lamborghini Huracán Performante, Lamborghini Gallardo Performante and a heavily tuned Audi RS6. The Audi R8 V10 produces 550hp from its naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10, while the Huracán Performante delivers 640hp and the Gallardo Performante produces 570hp. All three supercars combine high-revving V10 power with sophisticated all-wheel-drive systems, while the Lamborghinis benefit from significantly lower weight.

The wildcard of the lineup is the tuned second-generation Audi RS6, which swaps lightweight supercar construction for enormous power and torque. Its twin-turbo 5.0-litre V10 produces a claimed 780hp and 1300Nm, sent through a 6-speed automatic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive. Despite weighing almost 2000kg, the RS6 has a substantial power and torque advantage over the naturally aspirated supercars. The drag race puts the tuned estate against three generations of V10-powered performance machinery to determine whether brute force can overcome lightweight supercar engineering.
