Ferrari SF90 v 1000HP Golf R & BMW M240i: DRAG RACE

It’s time for a tuned car vs supercar drag race!

We’ve once again got our hands on the almighty Ferrari SF90, and it’s going up against a VW Golf R & a BMW M240i! But of course, the VW and BMW are able to put down a serious amount of power! Let’s take a closer look at the stats.

First up, we have the Golf R. The original engine has been ripped out and replaced with a 2.5-litre 5-cylinder turbo from an RS3! This has been worked on further, and it now produces 1,048hp and 1,114Nm! Power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed DCT auto gearbox, and all in, it costs around £100,000!

Next up, we have the M240i. As with the stock car, it’s packing a 3-litre 6-cylinder turbo, but the engine has been fully built, and it now puts down 1,014hp and 1,100Nm! This power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, and all in, it costs around £85,000.

As for the SF90, it’s equipped with a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 as well as three electric motors! These combine to produce 1,000hp and 800Nm, with power sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The car weighs 1,770kg, and it’s valued at an eye-watering £550,000!

So what do you think – can a Golf R & M240i take down an SF90?! There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE and for more content like this one follow us also on Facebook, Pinterest or Instagram!
