BMW M2 CS v Porsche GT4 RS: DRAG RACE

It’s time for a RWD showdown!
We’ve got Mat in the brand new BMW M2 CS, and he’s going up against a Porsche GT4 RS!

The BMW may have the advantage in both power and torque, but it’s no surprise that it’s heavier than the Porsche. Will that prove decisive? Let’s take a closer look at the stats.

Starting with the BMW, it’s powered by a 3-litre twin-turbo straight-six that produces 530hp and 650Nm. This power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed torque converter gearbox, and the car tips the scales at 1,700kg. As new, it costs £92,475.

Then we come to the Porsche. It’s packing a 4-litre naturally-aspirated flat-six, and this creates 500hp and 450Nm. Power is sent to the rears via a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and it weighs just 1,415kg. As new, it cost £125,500.

So the BMW may have more power, but will the Porsche prove its worth for the extra £32,500? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE! For more content like this one follow us also on Facebook, Pinterest or Instagram!
