Ferrari SF90 vs 1000HP Nissan GT-R: DRAG RACE

Mat’s lining up a 1,000hp Nissan GT-R against the almighty Ferrari SF90. But can a Nissan really be faster than a Ferrari which costs around four times more?

Well on paper, it looks promising. This GT-R has been fettled by JM Imports with a forged engine, an ECU remap and other performance mods. As a result, the 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V6 is putting out 1,000hp and 1,150Nm of torque. It’s quite a bit heavier than the Ferrari at 1,750kg, however it’s also significantly cheaper. This car with all the mods is worth £90,000.

Compare that to the Ferrari SF90’s near £400,000 price tag, and the prancing horse had better pull out some astonishing numbers. As mentioned, it’s lighter than the GT-R, tipping the scales at 1,570kg. Mounted behind the driver is a 4.0-litre V8 assisted by three electric motors. Combined, you get 1,000hp and 800Nm of torque.

How do you reckon this will play out? WIll it be an easy win for the Ferrari? Or could the GT-R clench victory? Stick with us to find out!
